WHAT IS
THE PEOPLE'S TRIBUNAL ON US GOVERNMENT COMPLICITY IN GAZA?
A LIVE EVENT IN SEATTLE AND STREAMING NATIONWIDE
Scheduled for October 10, 2026, in Seattle, Washington, the People's Tribunal on US Government Complicity in Gaza is a live event modeled after a grand jury hearing. The tribunal asks a jury of community members to determine whether there is sufficient evidence of complicity to warrant the indictment of government officials and state actors. The event aims to deepen public understanding through facts, testimony, and dialogue; hold elected officials accountable for complicity in the genocide; and mobilize people across the US to use their voices, consumer choices, and civic participation to advance accountability and human rights.
ORGANIZERS
Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom US (WILPF US) has been opposing war, lifting democracy and building peace since 1915. WILPF members in 40 branches across the US act on issues most urgent in their communities. Nationally, issue committees anchor WILPF US’s work from demanding disarmament, to justice for Palestine, to environmental and human rights. Globally, we connect with WILPF sections in 40 countries including WILPF Palestine.
American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) works with people of all faiths and backgrounds to
challenge unjust systems and promote lasting peace for a sustainable world free of violence,
inequality, and oppression. AFSC works in 18 countries. 37,000 young people are involved with
AFSC around the world to create change.
Veterans For Peace (VFP) is a global organization of Military Veterans and allies whose collective
efforts are to build a culture of peace. VFP informs the public of the true causes of war and the
costs of wars, with an obligation to heal the wounds of wars. VFP’s network is comprised of over 140 chapters worldwide whose work includes educating the public, advocating for the
dismantling of the war economy, providing services that assist veterans and victims of war, and working to end all wars.
ORGANIZATION
The tribunal is being organized by several committees:​

Organizing Committee:
The People's Tribunal on US Government Complicity in Gaza is organized by WILPF US, AFSC, and VFP along with Palestinian community voices and input from WILPF Palestine.

Advisory Committee:
The advisory committee is formed of representative Palestinian voices and local leaders to ensure the tribunal considers all voices and maximizes the tribunal's impact.

Legal Committee:
In parallel, a legal committee is responsible for
researching and presenting the legal aspects of the tribunal.

Local Mobilzation:
WILPF, VFP and AFSC branches and groups across the US will organize local watch events and teach-ins with local partners.

National and International Collaboration:
We are partnering with WILPF Palestine and members of the Palestinian diaspora for meaningful representation, grounded in local realities and human rights.
